Primers

Cashew Americas provides a primer that will allow you to achieve good adhesion between your PA or PP substrate and our basecoat for vacuum metallization.

Depending on your substrate composition and condition additional pre-treatments, such as plasma or corona treatment, might be necessary to get the desired adhesion of the total decorative system.

Basecoats

Cashew Americas provides a basecoat that will allow good adhesion between your PC, ABS or PC/ABS blend substrate or your primed substrate and your metalized layer. In addition, our basecoat provides an excellent leveling layer to ensure the mirror-like appearance of your metallization layer.

Topcoats

Cashew Americas provides several different topcoats, also referred to as a clearcoats. These provide all the protection your metalized layer needs to perform to your customers specifications.

In addition to regular topcoats, we also offer a topcoat which accepts an additional hot-stamp decoration.

Colorants and Pigments

Cashew Americas provides a range of colorants and pigments that can be used in combination with several of our topcoat products in order to exactly match the color your customer is looking for. We assist with formulating the proper mix-in amounts to achieve your target color.
